PURPOSE: A digital laser relay system for mobile communication is provided to construct a stable system by using digital characteristics, which is capable of restoring the original signals, and diversity. CONSTITUTION: A digital laser relay system is formed of a donor unit and a remote unit. An FRF(Forward RF Module) and an RRF(Reverse RF Module) process RF signals. An FDSP(Forward Digital Signal Processor) converts analog signals received from the FRF and the RRF into digital signals. An RDSP(Reverse Digital Signal Processor) processes the digital signals received from the FDSP. A DLS(Digital Laser Transceiver) converts digital optic signals into laser signals to transmit the laser signals to a laser transceiver of the other party through a free space, and converts the laser signals into digital optic signals. A duplexer combines or separates transmitting and receiving signals to use one transceiving antenna.
