FIELD: production of building items. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method and a device for production of building items and may be used at production of the gas concrete blocks, plates. The method provides for operations of filling of the forms with a gas-concrete mixture, putting covers on the forms and expose them to technological aging. After the beginning of the gas-concrete mixture bloating it is necessary periodically or continuously to measure motion of a sheet of a cover, and according to change of direction of the cover motion decide about of termination of the technological mixture aging. The device includes a U-shaped frame and a clock-type indicating device. The device contains the permanent magnets shaped as straight or arched rods, the middle of which is fixed to the ends of the U-shaped frame, and the plane of their cross section in the zone of their fixation coincides with the plane, in which the rods of the U-shaped frame lay.
