摘要 PURPOSE: A manual telescopic supporting structure of a steering system for a vehicle is provided to reliably separate a telescopic gear and a telescopic tube by a step unit and to secure reliability of contact with the telescopic gear through a projection unit line-contacting with a lock body. CONSTITUTION: A manual telescopic supporting structure of a steering system for a vehicle is composed of a cylindrical housing(270); a telescopic tube(240) having a gear formed longitudinally on one surface and moving vertically in the housing; a telescopic gear(220) composed of a gear formed at one side and engaged with the gear of the telescopic tube and an inclined surface formed at the other side and installed at the upper part of the telescopic tube; a lock body(230) disposed at the upper part of the telescopic gear to contact with the inclined surface and moved horizontally to move vertically the telescopic gear; a bracket(245) arranged at the outer periphery of the housing to receive the telescopic gear and the lock body; and a bolt(247) combined with the bracket and the housing to sliding-fix the telescopic gear to move vertically.
