PURPOSE: A method and a system for processing a credit card settlement in real-time based on diverse card use environments are provided to process the credit card settlement instantly based on credit card client information stored in a server on the network and/or real-time settlement function setting information linked with credit card information stored in an ICC(IC Chip) of a credit card. CONSTITUTION: A client card(145) is equipped with the real-time settlement function setting information(155) in a storing medium(150). The server(100) processes the credit card settlement in real-time based on the real-time settlement function setting information stored in the storage medium at the time for processing the settlement with the credit card. The storage medium is the server on the network, and/or the ICC in the credit card and/or a wireless terminal(140).
