摘要 PURPOSE: A method for reducing network configuration complexity with a permeable VPN(Virtual Private Network) is provided to supply a VPN including a fire wall and resources, so that the fire wall can function as a gateway by controlling an access to the resources by a client. CONSTITUTION: Since packets transmitted to a VPN(225) are displayed on an outer side of a fire wall(210) by a network routing process, a client(200) does not have to know an IP address of the fire wall(210). The fire wall(210) can challenge personal information on the client(200). The client(200) can request a connection to a specific server(240 or 245). The request is sent to the fire wall(210). Before the request is forwarded to a desired host within a network(225), the fire wall(210) confirms whether the client(200) is permitted to access the host within the network(225). If the fire wall(210) is in reliable connection with the host within the network(225), the fire wall(210) permits the host to be accessed with a private key or enables the host to use the private key on behalf of the fire wall(210).
