PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability and flashing, particularly, in its verge part, when reforming an existing roof. SOLUTION: New roof materials 30 and 30 are laid in layers on existing roof materials 15 and 15. A new verge flashing material 40 is installed so as to cover and hide an existing verge flashing material 10. Gable side end parts 42 and 42 of the new roof materials 30 and 30, are constituted so as to be inserted via a water cut-off material 54 into a substantially U-shaped fitting part 47 of the new verge flashing material 40.
