PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal corrosion-dissolution liquid which can safely and swiftly dissolve sparingly soluble metal such as zirconium in a nuclear reactor body component member of a nuclear power plant in a dissolution working site. SOLUTION: The metal corrosion-dissolution liquid comprises sulfuric acid and nitronium ions (NO<SB>2</SB><SP>+</SP>). Preferably, the molar ratio in concentration between the sulfuric acid and nitric acid is 1:0.038 to 1:0.18, and also, the ratio of water is≤10 mol%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
