PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip saw capable of simplifying the fixing and detachment of a chip with respect to a sawtooth plate and capable of receiving the moment of rotation caused on the bottom side of a blade part at the time of cutting by the receiving surface of a bottom part of the blade part. SOLUTION: In the chip saw 1 wherein the chip 5 is attached to an attaching part 10 of a tooth form part 3 formed to the sawtooth plate 2, joining pieces 15 are integrally provided to both sides of the blade part 13 having a tooth surface 18 not only to constitute the chip 5 having a fitting groove 16 formed thereto but also to form a blade part receiving surface 9, which comes into contact with the groove bottom of the fitting groove 16 and has a rake angle with respect to a cutting direction, and the bottom part receiving surface 6, which comes into contact with the surface 19 of the bottom part of the blade part 13 under the blade part receiving surface 9, to the fitting groove 16. Then, the fitting groove 16 of the chip 5 is inserted and fitted in the tooth form part 13 to be held and fixed by both joining pieces 15 and an escape space part (20) for preventing the concentration of stress at the time of fitting is formed to the deep part of the fitting groove (16) of the chip (5).
