<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-color image forming material consisting of a thermal transfer sheet and an image receiving sheet, wherein the thermal transfer sheet exhibits excellent sharpness of halftone dots and stability, and high sensitivity and high resolution by transferring a thin film of a coloring material. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-color image forming material consists of the image receiving sheet with an image receiving layer, and the thermal transfer sheet with at least a photo-thermal converting layer and an image forming layer on a substrate. The image forming layer of the thermal transfer sheet and the image receiving layer of the image receiving sheet are faced each other and laminated, and a laser light cast region of the image forming layer is transferred on the image receiving layer of the image receiving sheet by casting a laser light to record an image. As a value of physical properties of the photo-thermal converting layer of the thermal transfer sheet at 150°C, the elastic modulus is made to be ≤1,400 MPa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
