PRIMER FOR HLA-DRB1 ANTIGEN GENE AMPLIFICATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a primer for selectively amplifying a HLA (Human lymphocyte antigen)-DRB1 antigen gene contained in a specimen sample useful for a HLA typing and a primer set.

SOLUTION: The primer for amplifying a HLA-BRB1 antigen gene comprises an oligonucleotide selected from a group consisting of (a) an oligonucleotide composed of a base sequence selected from the group consisting of a specific base sequence and its complementary chain and (b) an oligonucleotide which is hybridized with the oligonucleotide (a) under a stringent condition and amplifies the same HLA-DBR1 antigen gene as that of the oligonucleotide (a).
