<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved information processor having a three-dimensional (3D) input device which does not generate user input errors even when the setting direction of the device is changed like vertical installation or horizontal installation. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic sensor is used as the 3D input device and a sensor effective area is set as a semi-spherical area or the whole spherical area around the magnetic sensor. Even when the information processor is set vertically or horizontally in the constitution, the sensor effective area can be set as an area expanded to the whole front of the information processor. Thereby a sensing disabled area is not formed in the front of the information processor and the information processor corresponding to user's various application forms can be realized without restricting the setting direction of the information processor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
