PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of conventional combs and brushes for pet animals comprising the necessity to use different combs, etc., for the removal of loose hair, the finish treatment, etc., and the generation of uneven finish by the local application of treatment liquid or deodorizing liquid. SOLUTION: Loose hairs remaining on the body of a pet animal can be removed by pressing a comb with a material having high resistance such as rubber as shown in Fig. 2 and pinching the loose hair between the comb body and the rubber. When the material has high liquid absorptivity, deodorizing liquid or treatment liquid can be uniformly applied to the hair to enable the removal of loose hair and the finish treatment of the hair at the same time.
