PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently control operation force and operation feeling of at least either one of an accelerator pedal or a shift lever through which operation condition of a vehicle is perceptible. SOLUTION: The vehicle operation system 21 includes a throttle controller (ECU) 16 and a pedal operation-force application means 26. The throttle controller (ECU 16) controls a throttle opening on the basis of a step-on measurement signal FS, which is detected by a step-on measurement detector 25 for detecting a step-on measurement of an accelerator pedal 15. The pedal operation-force application means 26 exerts the operation force on the acceleration pedal 15. The operation force is controlled on the basis of the step-on measurement signal FS. The vehicle operation system 21 includes further a spring 72 mechanically generating operation force of the acceleration pedal 15, an electromagnetic brake 26a generating magnetic force as operation force, and an electric motor 26b generating rotary driving force as operation force. At least either one of the brake 26a or the motor 26b exhibits characteristics of hysteresis in which operation force on the return side is light relative to the operation force on the step-on side of the acceleration pedal 15.
