VIBRATION ABSORPTION DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact vibration absorption device for an elevator effectively dampening vertical vibration of low frequency and being stored in an outside dimension of a car frame. SOLUTION: The elevator comprises a car frame 6 vertically moving in a hoistway 1; a car 5 provided in the car frame 6; a guide rail 2 for guiding the vertical movement of the car frame 6 and provided so as to be vertically extended; and a hanging rope 3 for supporting and lifting the car frame 6 through a pulley 4 below the car provided at a lower part of the car frame 6.
