MICROLENS ARRAY WITH IMPROVED FILL FACTOR AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING THE SAME INCLUDING SUBSTRATE AND INTERVAL FILLING FILM

PURPOSE: A microlens array with an improved fill factor and a method for fabricating the same are provided to improve an optical characteristic of a microlens by improving the fill factor of the microlens array. CONSTITUTION: A microlens array includes a substrate(110), a plurality of microlens(120), and an interval filling film(130). The substrate(110) is used for mounting microlens. The microlens(120) is two-dimensionally arrayed on the substrate. The interval filling film(130) is formed in such a manner that intervals of the substrate generated between the microlens and an upper side of the arrayed microlens are covered. The microlens array is designed such that the ratio of an area occupied by the microlens to the entire area of the substrate is raised. The substrate includes glass or metal.
