<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the reception sensitivity of a receiving circuit for detecting a change in optical property of an electrooptic element when an input signal obtained by modulating a carrier wave as an AC is applied to the electrooptic element. <P>SOLUTION: An input stage of this receiving circuit has an inductive reactance X<SB>L</SB>connected in series to the electrooptic element (EO). Since an input signal V<SB>Sig</SB>is applied to a resonance circuit configured by this electrooptic element of a capacitive reactance and the inductive reactance X<SB>L</SB>, the signal applied to the electrooptic element (EO) is increased, and as the result, the reception sensitivity is raised. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
