<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for information processing that can deter the amount of data from increasing when a structured document is analyzed and subsequent processes are carried out one after another. <P>SOLUTION: The structured document is analyzed and converted into internal representation based upon a tree structure etc., and print data by pages are generated one after another on the basis of data of the internal representation. At this time, an analyzing process which is, for example, three pages later is interrupted until printing based upon print data which are already generated ends and the data are deleted. For example, analyzing processes are carried out one after another up to a 4th page and analyzing processes of 5th and succeeding pages are interrupted.
