PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film which has an excellent low anisotropic property as a film constituting a polarizing plate and has excellent adhesiveness to substrates and hard coat layers, to provide a method for producing the same, to provide a polarizing plate using the film, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This film is characterized by applying a coating based on a (meth)acrylic-based resin and an epoxy-based resin onto a thermoplastic alicyclic hydrocarbon-based resin film.
