<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence device which has realized the formation of long life of organic EL elements. <P>SOLUTION: In the organic electroluminescence device provided with light emitting elements (organic EL elements) 3 having a light emitting layer which emits light by application of an electric field, an element control part (element driving means) CONT is provided for periodically switching between forward voltage and reverse voltage and applying them to the light emitting elements, and is constituted in such a manner that the light emitting elements are driven with a constant current by the forward voltage applied by the element control part CONT and then the peak value of the following reverse bias voltage to be applied thereto is made to almost the same as that of the forward bias voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
