PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a house for safely reproducing and enjoying a Japanese traditional original hearth existing life. SOLUTION: This house 1 is constituted so that a house body 1a formed in a highly airtight and highly heat insulating shape, and a living room 10 of reducing airtightness more than the housed body 1a, are arranged so as to be mutually adjacently integrated; and a hearth 2 is arranged on a floor surface 10c of the living room 10. In the living room 10, an opening part is arranged on the inside peripheral edge of the hearth 2; the inside of the living room 10 and the outdoors are communicated via an underfloor space and an underfloor ventilating opening from this opening part; and a top light 4 for opening-closing by sensing the temperature, is arranged in an upper ceiling part of the hearth 2. A fire resistant wall 3a is arranged in a boundary part between the house body 1a and the living room 10; and an internal facing material for enjoying a secular change by sticking of smoke from the hearth 2, is used at least for a part in the living room 10.
