METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING ILLEGAL SOFTWARE COPY/USE USING DRM TECHNIQUE THROUGH ONLINE CERTIFICATION PROCESS

PURPOSE: A method and a system for preventing illegal software copy/use using a DRM(Digital Right Management) technique through the Internet are provided to offer a software packaging having a function for immobilizing processes from installation to execution of illegally copied software through an online certification process. CONSTITUTION: A manager system comprises an input tool for inputting an original software package, an installing tool temporarily storing it in order to obtain an original file needing encryption in case that the original software package is an install version, a communication tool requesting/receiving an encryption key from a DRM server system, and an encryption tool. The encryption tool generates an encrypted main execution file/application bridge by compressing the partial or all software package with use of the encryption key. A client system comprises an installation bridge operated when a new installation program generated in the manager system is executed, and the application bridge operated to execute the encrypted main execution file installed from the new installation program.
