<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of the support for a lithographic printing plate, with which a lithographic printing plate original plate excellent both in stain resistance and in plate wearability can be obtained without applying a mechanical surface roughening treatment with a nylon brush and abrasives. <P>SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of the support of the lithographic printing plate, in which the support for the lithographic printing plate is obtained by applying to an aluminum plate at least an etching treatment in an alkaline water solution, a first electrochemical surface roughening treatment in water solution containing nitric acid, an etching treatment in the alkaline water solution, a second electrochemical surface roughening treatment in water solution containing the nitric acid, an electrochemical surface roughening treatment by alternating current in water solution containing hydrochloric acid and an anodizing treatment in the order named, the support for the lithographic printing plate is manufactured under the condition that the opening diameter of a recess formed through the second electrochemical surface roughening treatment in water solution containing the nitric acid is set to be smaller than the opening diameter of a recess formed through the first electrochemical surface roughening treatment in water solution containing the nitric acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
