<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high denitrification effect by a charcoal type water purification apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This water purification apparatus 20 is provided with a purification tank 25 comprising charcoal 24, a submerged pump 34 for passing water to be treated to the tank 25 and a water collecting pipe 52, a vegetation base 30 provided on an upper side of the tank 25 with plants 32 planted thereon, an air fan 40 for removing sludge attached to the charcoal and an air introducing pipe 36, and an aeration pipe 42 supplying air from the air fan 40 to the vegetation base 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
