PURPOSE: A driver apparatus of a liquid crystal display device and its method are provided to change a format of a NTSC(National Television System Committee) image according to a command of a user. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal panel(130) has liquid crystal cells arranged on crossing parts of gate lines and data lines, and displays an input image signal with different image format. A switch(Ts) generates a pulse signal by the operation of a user. A counter counts the pulse signal. And a timing control unit(120) changes image format of the image signal displayed on the liquid crystal panel in response to an input signal supplied from the counter.
