<p>PURPOSE:To permit the captioned apparatus to be used in a high- or low-speed copying machine by utilizing a U-turn-shaped paper transport passage and a transport roll and incorporating only the minimum mechanism such as selecting means for reversal, thus omitting the space for a reversal mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When a switching means 12 is set at a reversal position, in other words when a transfer guide 10 is erected into a transport passage 7 by the operation of an operating button, a sheet of paper is fed into a reversal passage 8 side and reaches a sensor 13 along the transfer guide 10 and is bitten into the first transport roller 16. Said sheet of paper is fed by the first and the second transport rollers 16 and 18 until the rear edge of the sheet of paper passes through the sensor 13, and when the rear edge of the sheet of paper passes through the sensor 13, the rollers 16 and 18 are inverted, and the transfer guide 10 of the switching means 12 revolution-shifts to an auxiliary guide 11 side, and the sheet of paper is sent into a discharge roll 22 and discharged onto a discharge tray 5, with the copied surface set underside. Therefore, page adjustment by the discharge tray 5 is eliminated.</p> |
