PURPOSE: A real-time error signal detection and cancellation apparatus is provided to detect and cancel a feedback signal, that is, an error signal generated due to the feedback of a Tx signal to the receiving antenna of a receiver. CONSTITUTION: A real-time adaptive error signal detection and cancellation apparatus consists of a signal distributor(100), the first offset signal detector(102), an error signal detector(104), a time delay unit(106), and the second offset signal detector(108). The signal distributor(100) regularly splits and distributes a received input signal, containing a desired signal and an undesired error signal, in order to detect and cancel the undesired error signal component. The first offset signal detector(102) combines the signals distributed from the signal distributor(100) and a signal opposite to the undesired error signal, in order to cancel the undesired error signal component. The error signal detector(104) combines the output signal of the first offset signal detector(102) with the signals distributed from the signal distributor(100), in order to detect the undesired error signal component. The time delay unit(106) delays the signals distributed from the signal distributor(100). The second offset signal detector(108) combines the delayed signals with a corresponding signal, cancels the undesired error signal, and outputs the desired signal only.
