摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor control mechanism, a rotor control unit, and a rotor control method capable of securely locking a drum by enabling the detection of the position of a rotor even if using a mechanical control mechanism without an increase in cost and power consumption caused in the control mechanism of a washing machine using semiconductor elements such as hole ICs for the detection of positions to arrest the stoppage of the rotation of the rotor. SOLUTION: A contact part 104 in contact with a stopper 106 and an engagement part 103 engaged with the stopper are formed at the projected portion of the rotor 102 formed projectedly from the rotor 102. When the stopper 106 reaches a contact part 104 at a specified position before stopping and arresting the rotor 102 by the engagement of the stopper 106 with the engagement part 103, position detection signals indicating the positions of the rotor 102 and the stopper 106 are outputted.
