<p>An open hole is made in a plane interrupting wave motion propagating through a space, an object is imaged on an intermediate plane by wave motion passing through this open hole, and, after wave motion conversion -- conversion of wave motion entity into wave motion capable of being subjected to secondary-imaging, the image is picked up by a secondary imaging device. Distortion by the secondary imaging device is corrected by a calibrating lattice pattern provided on the intermediate plane. The intermediate plane provides a wave motion conversion function, distortion calibrating function, and distortion-free wide visual field ensuring and wave motion entity converting functions.</p> |
