<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum switchgear reducible in size while maintaining a desirable dielectric strength. <P>SOLUTION: The vacuum switchgear has a conductive external vacuum container, a plurality of internal vacuum containers built in the external vacuum container, and electrically insulated from the external vacuum container, a moving electrode being able to connected to an operation mechanism, a ground switch having a fixed electrode for grounding during a maintenance period of the vacuum switchgear, at least one function switch having a function of either as a circuit breaker for shutting off the circuit in case of accident, a disconnector for disconnecting the circuit in terms of voltage, or a load-break switch for switching between load and the circuit, and a plurality of electrode shields for shielding the electrodes of the ground switch and the function switch, and it is characterised in that the ground switch and the function switch are separately built in the internal vacuum containers, and the external vacuum container and the internal vacuum containers are communicated by a through hole provided on the internal vacuum containers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
