PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal for realizing a sound releasing structure which takes out a front output and a rear output individually in multiple directions with respect to the mobile terminal, such as a portable telephone, having a built-in speaker. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal has a first sound releasing unit (sound releasing hole 86) formed at one face (rear case 52) of a case 48 having a built-in speaker 78 for guiding a front output Fo of the speaker outside, a sound guiding hole 90 formed at a case inner member 54 provided in the case for passing the rear output Bo of the speaker and guiding it to the other face of the case, and a second sound release unit (sound releasing hole 88) formed at the other face (front case 50) of the case for guiding the rear output from the sound guiding hole to outside of the case.
