PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foaming type fluxer provided with a controlling unit for specific gravity of flux with which the specific gravity of a flux solution can easily be kept to a prescribed value. SOLUTION: When a position of the surface of the flux solution F is lower than a prescribed position and the specific gravity of the flux solution F is larger than a prescribed value, a diluting solution T is supplied into a flux vessel 18 and the specific gravity of the flux solution F is controlled to the prescribed value with a controller 58. In comparison with the case of setting the position of the flux solution to the prescribed position by supplying the undiluted flux solution, the specific gravity of the flux solution F can easily be kept to the prescribed value without making the position of the surface of the flux solution F higher than required.
