PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector, light-weight and convenient to carry, having a merit that it is easily cared (maintenance) such as cleaning after use, to be used in a fighting/athletic game such as kendo or in security services. SOLUTION: The protector consists of a fiber yarn woven fabric part and a non-fiber yarn woven fabric part; the fiber mainly constituting the fiber yarn woven fabric part is synthetic fiber. More preferably, at least part of the synthetic fiber constituting the fiber yarn woven fabric part is polyamide hollow synthetic fiber whose percentage of hollowness is 25%-60%. More preferably, the synthetic fiber is short fiber whose single fiber fineness is 1-10 decitex and the fiber length is 20-120 mm. The synthetic fiber yarn consisting of the short fiber is the spun yarn of 29.5-590 tex in yarn count (20-1 in the English cotton yarn count). COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
