PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a game machine by which expenditure, labor and time are reduced. SOLUTION: The device includes: a panel having display windows; reel units having a reel to be rotated to present continuous symbols in the circumferential direction of a reel belt in the display windows; a light source for illuminating the symbols on a prize-winning line when the reels are stopped; and the reflection box of each reel unit arranged behind the panel. A cap for the symbols having an illumination range limiting window corresponding to the size of the symbols S on the reel belt to be stuck to the reel is fitted to the front opening part of each reflection box, so as to be selectively attachable/detachable.
