A fluid power linear drive has a drive housing ( 1 ) in which a housing chamber ( 4 ) is located containing at least one piston ( 5 ). The drive housing possesses two housing parts ( 2 and 3 ) placed alongside each other, which at mutually facing joint faces ( 16 and 17 ) are provided with half chambers ( 18 a and 18 b) constituted by elongated, groove-like recesses, which half chambers are united in a complementary fashion to form at least one housing chamber ( 4 ).
