A printing machine has a drum (01) with a piezo-electric sensor (07). The piezoelectric material is bound to fibres and embedded in a cast mass. The pressure sensor fibres are arrayed essentially in a radial direction within the drum. The piezo-electric measuring device has electrodes facing in opposite directions. The fibres are essentially transverse to these surfaces. Also claimed is a printing machine equipped with a commensurate drum.
