A lead-through conductor (21) has high-voltage connections (2,3) on its ends. A surge voltage charge eliminator (11) with a varistor structure (14) links to the high-voltage connections on one side and has an earth connection on the other side, along with mechanical connecting elements (19) outside the varistor structure.
