PURPOSE: A crystal oscillator is provided to obtain stably thickness of an external wall by installing an input/output terminal for outputting or inputting data from or to an IC at a crystal blank assembly. CONSTITUTION: A crystal oscillator includes a crystal blank and an IC. A crystal blank is mounted into a crystal blank assembly(10). The IC is mounted into a chip assembly(20). A plurality of input/output terminals(31a,31b) are formed at terminal grooves which are formed on an external wall face of the crystal blank assembly. A plurality of upper solder pads(32a,32b) are formed at a lower face of the crystal blank assembly in order to be electrically connected to the input/output terminals. A plurality of lower solder pads(33a,33b,33c,33d) are formed at an upper surface of the chip assembly in order to be electrically connected to the IC.
