The tedder has rakes mounted on a beam made up of two sections (6, 7) which swivel from a position where they are at right angles to the direction of motion to a transport position where they are parallel to it. Each rake has a support wheel (9) under it which swivels automatically to the direction of motion in both positions of the beams.
