PURPOSE: An aqueous material of a hydrophilic polyurethane resin is provided, which can be used for coating and finishing without problems of adhesive property, moisture resistance, solvent resistance, storage stability, and etc. CONSTITUTION: The aqueous material of the polyurethane comprises 2-20wt%(based on solids) of a terminal or side group represented by the formula 1, wherein R is a C1-C18 alkyl or cycloalkyl. And the aqueous material contains 29.5-60wt% of the polyurethane, 0.5-15wt% of a polyamine component, and 70-25wt% of water, wherein the polyurethane contains a hydrophilic group, an ionic group, or an ionomer group.
