Gibberella Fujikuroi wild strains fermentation comprises production of Gibberellins GA1 and GA3 by inoculation and solvent extraction

The Gibberella fujikuroi wild strains fermentation consists of production of gibberellins GA1 and GA3 without the need for prior genetic manipulation of the fungus. The strains are inoculated, for orbital agitation at 22-32 degrees C over 5-15 days. Then the source is filtered, acidified and extracted by organic solvents. EMBODIMENT - The residue after evaporation contains ca. 2g of gibberellins per litre, with over 70 per cent GA1 + GA3 richness.
