DEVICE FOR TOWING SHIP, HAVING ONE FAIR LEAD FIXED TO STERN TO GUIDE MOORING ROPE

PURPOSE: A device for towing a ship is provided to promote simplification of structure to use one fair lead to an ETS(Emergency Towing System) and an ESP(Escorting Pull back) in common and to effectively use the space of the stern by reducing installation space. CONSTITUTION: In a device for towing a ship, one fair lead(30) guiding a mooring rope is fixed to the stern of the ship. The fair lead is commonized to make just one of a towing mooring rope and an escorting mooring rope(22) selectively fitted to the fair lead. A box(14) in which a chain is stored is installed to the rear of the fair lead. A fixing bracket(18) to which a chain is fixed in a straight line identical with the fair lead is fixed to one side of the box. A strong point(23) fixing the escorting mooring rope is installed to a position adjacent to the fixing bracket. A shaft pin(181) is installed to the fixing bracket. The front end of the chain is fixed and released to/from the shaft pin. The towing mooring rope is assembled to the other end of the chain.
