摘要

PURPOSE: A central control system and an operation method thereof of an air conditioner are provided to conveniently manage electricity by executing automatically a forcible operation algorism for changing an operation state of each air conditioner if total wattage exceeds a reference value. CONSTITUTION: A central control system of an air conditioner is composed of a multi-air conditioner comprising a plurality of indoor devices(110) installed in each room in a building and an outdoor device(120) joining with plural indoor devices and controlling the circulation of refrigerant and a central controller(200) coupled with the multi-air conditioner by a network to central-control and monitor the multi-air conditioner. The central controller calculates present use electricity according to the operation of the multi-air conditioner and performs a peak-electricity control if the present use electricity is over a reference electricity value.
