GOLF CLUB HEAD WHICH IS COMPOSED OF TITAN-METAL FRONT SURFACE BODY, FRP-MEMBER, AND METAL SOLE PLATE AND WEIGHT MEMBER

PURPOSE: A golf club head, which is composed of a titan-metal front surface body, a FRP-member, and a metal sole plate and weight member, is provided to properly design the height of gravitational center of the present golf club head. CONSTITUTION: The golf club head of a hollowed housing structure includes: a front surface body(10), made out of a titan metal material and forming a face(2) and a front edge, connected to the face(2). The relation between the volume(V)(cc) and the height(H)(mm) of gravitational center of the head(1) is determined by that H is less than 0.05 V + 7.5. The height of gravitational center amounts to 20 to 28 mm.
