PURPOSE: A method for controlling rotation of a display, and normally displaying a logo and a background image included in a background on a portable computer is provided to normally display the logo and the background image included in the background without distortion even if the background displayed through an LCD is rotated to a predetermined angle. CONSTITUTION: The image displayed through the LCD is respectively generated for a general display image and a rotational display image(S11). One of the general display image and the rotational display image is selectively displayed depending on a display mode of the LCD(S16).
