PURPOSE: A crossbeam structure for construction is provided to improve earthquake resistance by increasing the vertical bearing strength of a crossbeam and increasing the resistance against external force such as distortion, bending, etc., and to prevent the lowering of durability caused by a crack by temperature and moisture or the damage by insects. CONSTITUTION: The crossbeam structure for construction contains: a metallic frame(20) having lateral parts(21,21') formed parallel vertically, a lower part(22) connected perpendicularly from the lower ends of the lateral parts(21,21') and provided with a square retreated part(22'), and an upper part(23) connected perpendicularly from the upper ends of the lateral parts(21,21') and provided with a triangular retreated part(23'); a reinforcement member(30) made of wood and fixed to the lateral parts(21,21') and the lower part(22); and many fitting grooves(40) formed longitudinally on the reinforcement member(30) fixed to the lateral parts(21,21').
