SHADOW MASK OF CATHODE RAY TUBE FOR PREVENTING DISTORTION OF SHAPE OF ELECTRON BEAM

PURPOSE: A shadow mask of a cathode ray tube is provided to prevent the shape of an electron beam from being distorted due to an angle difference between a slot formation direction and an electron beam traveling direction, generated as the curvature of the shadow mask is reduced, by optimizing the shape of slots of the shadow mask. CONSTITUTION: A cathode ray tube includes a panel and a shadow mask(80). The outer side of the panel is flat and the inner side has a predetermined curvature. The shadow mask is arranged having a predetermined distance from the inner side of the panel and has slots(81) through which electron beams pass. The slots are tilted at a predetermined angle to an electron beam incident angle direction on the basis of a virtual line vertically traversing the centers of the slots.
