PURPOSE: A drum washing machine is provided to dry the laundry evenly, and to improve the rinsing efficiency by agitating the laundry in the large amount of washing water and by restricting the laundry from being entangled. CONSTITUTION: The laundry amount is detected(S1), and water is supplied to the predetermined water level according to the laundry amount(S2). The laundry is washed by rotating a drum(S3), and water is drained from the outer tub(S4). Intermediate dehydration is performed by rotating the drum at high speed, and detergent and water are discharged(S5). Water is supplied to the rinsing water level(S6), and the laundry is rinsed(S7). The first washing course is finished by draining water from the outer tub(S8), and intermediate dehydration is performed and detergent is discharged with water(S9,S10). Water from the laundry is discharged by dehydrating the laundry at high speed for the long time(S11), and the laundry is dried(S12).
