POUCH-TYPE LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY WITH POSITION ALTERATION OF PROTECTING ELEMENTS

PURPOSE: Provided is a pouch-type lithium secondary battery which has improved current breaking performance upon overcharge and can easily detect heat generated from the battery by altering the position of protecting elements in a protecting circuit substrate. CONSTITUTION: The pouch-type lithium secondary battery(30) includes a battery part(31) in which a positive electrode plate(32), a separator(34) and a negative electrode plate(33) are disposed in order; a positive electrode tab(35) connected electrically with the positive electrode plate(32); a negative electrode tab(36) connected electrically with the negative electrode plate(33); a case(310) which provides a space(311) for accommodating the battery part(31) and in which sealed faces(314,315) to be heat-melted along an edge of the space(311) is formed; and a protecting circuit substrate(400) comprising protecting elements(413), each of which is connected electrically with the electrode tab, wherein the protecting elements are disposed on the sealed face at a position corresponding to any one electrode tab having relatively large quantity of heat generated from the battery in order to detect abnormally high temperature and to break the stream of current.
