The underseating comrpises a base plate (1) on which is fixed a rotatable surface(9) on which the Christmas tree stand is stood. It is installed with electricity in order to turn the surface. The casing (2) contains an electric motor with a shaft coupled to the surface by means of a gear tooth. A mechanical clock which plays music as it turns or other decorative electronic elements can be attached to the surface.
