A method for storing a cationic polymerizable composition comprising an acid generating agent, a cationic polymerizable compound and water, the method including the step of: placing the cationic polymerizable composition in a water impermeable container maintaining a content of water in the cationic polymerizable composition at a level of at least 0.2 weight % based on the total weight of the cationic polymerizable composition.
